Dietary Fats.

 

How does that phrase make you feel, ?

 

Hopefully there’s not a negative connotation with that.  But we are well aware that there might be…

 

Are fats bad for you?

 

 

The former, yes.

 

The latter- abso-freaking-lutely not.

 

The former is a direct snapshot from the “Eat Like an Asshole Diet.”

 

The latter is called adulting.

So who’s ready to adult?

 

For the next week we are shifting our focus to dietary fats.  Keep the carbs and veggies habits going, but directly focus on fats now…

 

Our fourth habit is fats every meal.

 

Don’t be scared, homie!  Fats are magical.

 

“How do I begin?”

 

You know, I’m glad you asked…

 

Go back a look over your lists of healthy fats:

 

  • Fish Oils
  • Olive Oil
  • Coconut Oil
  • Nuts
  • Natural Peanut Butter
  • Olives
  • Avocados
  • Chia Seeds

 

No, that’s not the end-all-be-all list.  But it’s a place to start.

 

“What am I after here?”

 

Ladies, we want you to knock out one thumb of fats at every meal.

Fellas, we want you to knock out two thumbs of fats at every meal.

(sorry these were too perfect NOT to use)

“Is a snack a meal?”

 

Yes.

 

It’s on the daily check-ins.
