Block Goal: Short, effective, workouts that leave plenty of time to enjoy life and provide opportunities to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather!
♣ Phase One
- Get acclimated with the programming while building a base with volume. Don’t let the simplicity of it fool you, this is work so long as you approach it with the right focus. Pay attention to RPE!
♠ Phase Two
- Everybody hands go up reps go down And they stay there (for the month). Time to find a little more intensity with our power & strength + increase the volume a bit with our complexes. Once again, looks simple, but if we’re training with the right intensity (i.e., following RPE), this is work!
♥ Phase Three
- This is what sane and sensible programming looks like! Slight progressions of power and assistance movements, a slight bump back up in volume, and all with a bit more intensity than phase 1. As always, pay attention to RPE!
♦ Phase Four
- Where the heck did the Summer go?! It’s our final phase of Summer ’19, and this one brings a bit more intensity that the previous three, while still using VERY sane and sensible changes. As always, pay attention to RPE!
